Grocer-E-Buddy

Grocer-e-Buddy is a user-driven database of item prices for grocery and convenience stores, used to provide you with the estimated lowest cost for items on your shopping list.
It allows you to get an estimate of your trip cost before you go, and allows you to keep track of the total cost while you are shopping.
You can even check the price history of items on your list on the price comparison and shopping screens*.
Grocer-E-Buddy allows you to create a shopping list, then search against our database to see the individual and total cost of those items at selected stores; breaking down the prices into normal and sale prices.
You can even compare the prices in up to three stores at once (showing either, or both, regular and sale prices).
When selecting a store, you can even see the total cost of your current list at all stores on the map*.
You can submit (or confirm) the item prices as you shop, or scan your receipt to submit them later (using fuzzy AI to try and recreate the scanned list).
Grocer-E-Buddy even allows you to add generic search items to your list (ie bread, milk, juice, etc), then dynamically search our database for matching "tagged" items on demand to add to your list while shopping.Out of town and need to make a grocery run?

Grocer-E-Buddy allows you to submit them for inclusion in our data.
You can submit pictures for items that dont have them, as well as enter searchable tags to "group" items in the database (ie frozen, breakfast, fruits, etc).You can even get rewarded for helping us to build our database.
Get points for submitting items, stores, prices, and updating information.
You can trade the points in for a ticket in a weekly raffle for $25 gift cards, or save up enough points and trade them in for a $50 gift card directly.
